Ovocné Knedlíky Pop-Up

Learn how to make, serve and eat Czech fruit dumplings-ovocné knedlíky. Often mistaken by expats as desert, it is a complete vegetarian meal.

Our own talented Charlotte Sommer is hosting a class on the art of making ovocné knedlíky, Saturday 14 September at 11:30 am. This is a Pop-Up Charity Fundraiser to support IWAP’s chosen charities. This class is capped at 10 people so sign up immediately at charity.iwap@gmail.com.

What to bring: Two or three pieces of fresh fruit, such as plums, large strawberries, apricots, nectarines, but please no apples, pears or blueberries. Notebook and pen to write down the instructions, and an apron.

Where: Charlotte’s flat – address provided upon confirmation of your RSVP

What to expect: Charlotte will have all the other ingredients and guide you through the preparation. After the ovocné knedlíky are done you will have lunch. Charlotte has graciously offered to provide rose wine, lemonade and tea. Of course, you are welcome to bring a beverage to share.

Fundraiser: This is a Charity Pop Up Event. Donations will be accepted for this year’s IWAP charities, Centrum Locika and eda. If you wish to donate, but cannot attend, you may make a deposit or bank transfer to the IWAP Charity Account:  4561765001/5500. Donation of any amount is appreciated.
