Monthly meetings
IWAP organizes welcoming and informative monthly meetings for our members. Each meeting provides opportunities to socialize with other members over light refreshments and find out about upcoming IWAP events and activity groups, as well as to hear from popular selected keynote speakers on interesting and engaging topics or to enjoy a presentation or performance.
Activity groups
Five days a week, as well as some evenings and weekends, there are numerous free and coordinated events throughout the year. Our groups are led by members who volunteer to share their talents, skills and expertise. See Our Activities page for the more than two dozen Interest Groups ranging from book club to baking, hiking to happy hour, Czech chat to English conversation, dancing to dinner divas, scrabblers to singers, golfing to gallery goers, kavarna hopping to luncheons, evening socials and games…. And more…. If you don’t see an interest group that fits your preferences, you can also create your own group!
Private, moderated Facebook group
Joining our Interactive Facebook Group gives you immediate access to other members, current news, photos from activities, local tips and updates, and opportunities to post questions. It also enables you to be part of our Member Monday Market where you can promote your business, your blog, an event you are working on, personal items for sale and more. All posts are friendly and moderated, and private to our group!
Members-only area of the website
When you join you will be able to access member content including upcoming cultural events and excursions, charity events, and all of our interest group events and activities. Location and contact details are provided for each event. In addition, you can connect with other members using the member directory.

Value for you and for others
Our membership policy applies whether you are in Prague full-time, travel frequently, or keep a part-time home base here. You may follow a single interest group occasionally or regularly, join in multiple activities in short bursts or throughout the year, actively volunteer and contribute, or you may just like for us to be here for you to join in when you can.
