This exhibition will take place in the Botanical Garden.
Known as the largest exhibition in the Czech republic, the orchid show at the Prague Botanic garden features beautiful exotic flowers from all over the globe. The display in the Fata Morgana greenhouse includes thousands of orchids in full bloom, including the most famous species, less common orchids and the rarest ones.
This year, it will take visitors to Vietnam and will bring the atmosphere of the Tết Nguyễn Đán (Vietnamese New Year) holiday.
Yellow and red, colours of happiness, are the holiday colors in Vietnam. The orchid exhibition is in the Fata Morgana, the greenhouse. Over 170 kinds of orchids in more than 1,200 species have been found in Vietnam so far. And new ones are described every year. 30-35% of these beautiful flowers grow only in Vietnam and cannot be found anywhere else in the world.
