Loretánské náměstí – by the statue of Edvard Beneš at 14.00
This walking tour in English is organized by Open House Praha, will focus on the places where the American and Czech worlds collided as well as the romantic relationships that affected the fates of important figures of the turbulent 20th century. The 90 minutes tour will remember writer Marcia Davenport, politician Madeleine Albright, art collector Meda Mládková, or wife of the first Czechoslovak president Charlotte Garrigue Masaryk, amongst others. Open House Praha is a non-governmental, nonprofit organization whose mission is to arouse public interest in the city, its architecture, and its public space.
