At the Night of Churches (Noc kostelů), more than 1800 churches and chapels throughout the country will open their doors during and in Prague it will be possible to visit 159 churches and chapels. The Night of Open Churches was launched in the Czech Republic in 2009, although the idea originated in Vienna, and it is organised by the Prague Archbishopric.
Among the newly opened sites will be the chapel at the Chamber of Deputies in Sternberg Palace and the theme of this year’s event is baptism.
