At the Kunsthalle Praha
Kunsthalle Praha, a non-profit cultural space located in the historical city center has opened in 2022. Located in the converted building of a former electricity transformer station, its mission is to create an international platform for art and culture, a venue for art exhibitions and educational projects with a focus on 20th and 21st century Czech art.
The exhibit features 37 artists, spanning the 1950s to the 2000s, the exhibition features work in various media, with a predominance of photography, video, and painting. The kaleidoscopic experience ends with the turn of the century, when bohemia – still a worldwide phenomenon – begins to lose its momentum as a result of fast-paced societal changes.
