Czechs traditionally visit and honor their departed loved ones every year on this day in the beautiful cemeteries all over the Czech Republic. The cemeteries are filled with people placing flowers and lighting candles, sometimes spending hours cleaning the graves and remembering those they loved. It is a truly wonderful tradition and worth seeing. The cemeteries here are like parks so even if you don’t have a loved one buried here, go into a cemetery for a stroll.
