DOX Centre for Contemporary Art
American filmmaker and artist David Lynch’s visual art, including paintings, photographs, lithographs, watercolours, and experimental films from six decades, is on display for the first time in the Czech Republic at the DOX exhibition Up in Flames. The project is conceived as a retrospective of Lynch’s artistic output, with an emphasis on his most recent works from the last seven years, including experimental short films. The exhibition is not designed chronologically, but follows specific thematic connections that, among other things, characterise David Lynch’s work.
