The burning of straw witches around the country announces the fertility and rebirth of the earth with the arrival of the spring; a perfect event to dance and be merry around the fire…In Prague, the celebrations take place in various parts of the city, accompanied by music concerts, stands with food, workshops, competitions and parades.
