At the Botanic Garden – Troja
Spring is here and the annual butterfly exhibition at the botanical gardens in Troja is starting on April 19th. 50 types of butterflies have been brought from a butterfly farm in Stratford on Avon, England, and the exhibit will introduce visitors to 5000 pupae. The focus of this years’ exhibition is the mystery of their lives, life cycle stages and the process of metamorphosis. At the Botanical Garden just look out for the Fata Morgana greenhouse, which this year celebrates its 20th anniversary. Whilst you are there, visit the exhibition and sale of tropical plants, arranged by the students from the Jarov School of Horticulture (this tropical plants’ exhibition goes on until April 7th).
