As the name implies, Thanksgiving is a day for giving thanks for all the good things that happened during the year. One of my favorite holidays as it is usually celebrated with family and friends around a table filled with food, fun and laughter. For those of you who are not American, but are curious about this lovely tradition, here in Prague you can go to one of the many restaurants offering the traditional roasted turkey dinner with all the trimmings. Usually turkey and stuffing, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes and gravy, pumpkin pie, pecan pie and other wonderful foods.
