At Betlémské náměstí 5, Prague 1

The first Christmas exhibition was organized by the Bonsai Club Prague in 1980 in the Museum of Prague and since then, it has become a traditional annual event. This year’s exhibition will be mainly dedicated to fragrances (Christmas trees, inciense, gingerbread, marzipan, burning candles…). There will be a stage at the exhibition, where children’s groups will sing Christmas carols. Entrance is CZK 120, children and seniors CZK 60.

The Bethlehem chapel is where Master Jan Hus preached for the last time in February 1413 and which was demolished in 1786. In the years 1948-1954, the chapel was rebuilt by J. Fragner according to the drawings of the original chapel. Preserved parts of masonry and architectural elements as well as fragments of inscriptions were incorporated into the new building. The Bethlehem Chapel is the property of the Czech Technical University in Prague.
