Monday 3rd of June marks the hundredth anniversary of Kafka’s death, of tuberculosis, at age forty (1883-1924). The exhibition KAFKAESQUE, held in DOX, will present works by more than 20 internationally acclaimed artists for whom the works of Franz Kafka remain an inspiration. Kafka’s literary work, with its references to existential fears and personal anxieties, is still highly relevant to our times. The exhibition will be accompanied by numerous events including literary readings, film projections, concerts, etc. DOX is preparing a comprehensive catalogue for the KAFKAESQUE exhibition, which will be launched on May 26th.
