At Světozor, Edison Filmhub and Přítomnost cinema (in Prague)
Following the inspiring presentation of Allegra Stodolsky’s documentary film at the IWAP March General Meeting, it’s a good idea to attend the 31st edition of the European Film Festival which focuses exclusively on contemporary European films. Several program sections include more than 36 films, including novelties awarded with prizes from Cannes, Venice and Karlovy Vary festivals and the main part of the program takes place in Prague, Brno and Ostrava from 4 to 9 April. There will be films by directors Wim Wenders, Fernando Trueba and Alice Rohrwacher, as well as debuts from the new generation of filmmakers.
