Our Coffee At My House interest group meets once per month in the home of one of our members. We chat over coffee, tea and refreshments in a personal, comfortable and safe surrounding. A great opportunity to meet new members, forge great friendships in a smaller group.
The group is a mix of women who have lived in Prague for a long period, others who have been here for a year or two, and others who have recently moved here. We have fun discussing recipes, swapping magazines, sharing experiences of Prague and other countries we have lived, offer advice and tips to help new members settle into Prague and much more.

This popular group began many many years ago and was originally called BAKIF which is the acronym from the first letters of Brits, Aussies, Kiwis (New Zealand), Irish and Friends and was a sub group for English speakers.
In 2015, we had a fun gathering where the American Women’s Group joined the BAKIF group at one of our member’s homes – it was a wonderful morning full of laughter and sharing stories.

In 2019, we decided to update the group name to Coffee At My House as in time the group has evolved. The group can be as small as three and as large as fifteen! The group leader addresses the members and informs them of upcoming events and IWAP information.
Once the pandemic situation allows us to meet again in our homes as a group we will start up this gathering of like minded women again and continue to have fun. Looking forward to it!
