Don’t miss out! Mark your calendar now and get your tickets! IWAP will be celebrating the start of the December holiday season with a wonderful Winter Party on Saturday, December 7, 2019. There will be loads of fun, food, drink and dancing – all in the company of your favorite IWAP members. Bring your spouse, friends and/or significant others – all are invited!
IWAP has booked out Prague’s new gastropub, The Down Under, for the whole evening. Join us from 7:00 pm until midnight. This welcoming Aussie-themed pub is conveniently located in the basement of Vinohradská 48, in Vinohrady, right by the Vinohradská tržnice tram stop, and close to Náměstí Míru.
The ticket price is only 750 Kc per person, and includes:
- Welcome drink (to get the party started!)
- Delicious sit-down buffet dinner (including tasty meat and vegetarian choices, and their famous Australian dessert – what is a Lamington anyway?)
- Dancing to the best DJ hits (make your requests!)
- Unlimited water and coffee, and evening snacks (so you can dance all night!)
Cash bar will be available all evening with a percentage of proceeds will be donated to the IWAP charity fund.

The Winter Party will feature a super raffle and a silent auction, offering fabulous vouchers from Prague’s best eateries and lots of awesome prizes. Raffle ticket sales will kick off at the September 17 IWAP General Meeting. The price remains low – 2 tickets for 100 Kc, and you don’t have to be present to win. You will be able to buy your raffle tickets at all General Meetings, at IWAP events and activities from many board members and by contacting office.iwap@gmail.com or charity.iwap@gmail.com.

eda, https://www.eda.cz/ is a Czech charity that provides professional early intervention support, assistance and guidance to families with young children who have visual or multiple disabilities or delays.
Centrum Locika, http://www.centrumlocika.cz/en/ provides services to children who have been exposed to domestic violence. Support staff work with the whole family to strengthen relationships and end the cycle of violence.
