DESCRIPTION:Come and join us for what should be a very interesting tour of Radio Free Europe\, which has been\, as you probably all know\, been in the news most recently and which has played a crucial role in Central Europe and Central Asia in the past. \nRFE/RL’s mission is to promote democratic values by providing accurate\, uncensored news and open debate in countries where a free press is threatened and disinformation is pervasive. RFE/RL reports the facts\, undaunted by pressure. \nWhile historically known for radio broadcasting behind the Iron Curtain during the Cold War\, today’s RFE/RL seeks to reach audiences where they are\, prioritizing digital platforms and innovative censorship circumvention strategies. \nTo view their website\, click here.
