If you are wondering what to do with yourself after Christmas Day, why not take a drive to Třešť, a village near Jihlava about 1.5 hours from Prague.  Many of the residents of this pretty village open their homes to show their hand-carved Nativity scenes.  Carving the Nativities has been a tradition in the region for over 200 years and the townspeople create lovely landscapes for visitors to enjoy.  You can find an interactive map on the town website that shows which homes are open to the public for this event.
